Modern handcrafted solid Ash platform bed. 1933 Mid-Century inspired design with delicate layered patterns that mimic clouds on a hazy summer day. Nor is Romanian for cloud.
No two beds are the same due to character markings in the wood grain. Solid wood will expand and contract due to environmental temperature and humidity changes. Expect this bed to last a lifetime.
Platform base construction: No box frame mattress needed; The image is pictured with a 12" mattress and 2" top cushion. The mattress height from the floor will vary from 24" to 28"
Recommended weight support: 900 lbs (but will support weight up to 1000 lbs)
16 individual solid poplar support slats with a center solid wood poplar rail supported by three solid Ash legs with adjustable levelers.
100% Solid Ash wood construction for headboard and footboard frame and carved patterns; the flat solid panels are laminated Plywood with Ash veneer to avoid warping, the side rails are laminated Plywood construction to eliminated warping and splitting.

NOR Queen / chestnut-ash

Wonderful experience overall, I recently moved and accidently put my old address in, contacted them about it and they had me all squared away within an hour! The bed frame itself is absolutely perfect, This bed is SOLID and sturdy which you never know when you buy online. True to color, and so easy to put together. You do need two people to lift the boxes it comes in and two for assembly just so it is easier. I had this assembled within a half hour at most and I'd say most of that was just unboxing. My housemate was so impressed they ordered a different frame from them that night!

I absolutely LOVE this bed, it is sturdy, well built, and the design of it is gorgeous. I get so many comments on it and I just love it. Worth every Penny

Exactly as pictured. Looks beautiful. Quality wood and build.

This bed is absolutely gorgeous and very solid, now I feel like I need to step up the rest of my bedroom furniture and decor as this is just so so much nicer than my other basic pieces. It shipped and was delivered within about a week and was easy and quick to assemble. There was an issue with one piece getting damaged during shipping but they got it corrected immediately. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for new pieces from Monsoonblue to purchase in the near future.
